Habari Gani! Ogamba chi kati? Welcome! I’m an American here with my Ugandan son Samuel in the beautiful country of Uganda East Africa. You are not reading this by mistake but by the appointment of God. The NEHEMIAH PROJECT is a cry from the towns, cities, villages & jungles of Africa to the Nations of the World calling her native children who have been scattered across the world to come back and help rebuild the broken walls and repair the burned down gates. The bible says in Nehemiah 1 that when Nehemiah heard that the survivors were in great distress and reproach, the walls of Jerusalem broken down and its gates burned with fire, he sat down and wept. But he did not stop at that as many African-Americans and natives of Africa across nations have been doing for a long time. Nehemiah PRAYED and ACTED. He actually came down to see firsthand the situation and rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem. We are calling upon you to come and see firsthand the distress of the people. Africa's walls have been broken down, gates burned down and the people are in great distress and reproach. God is calling upon you to come back home and help rebuild Africa. Nehemiah was comfortable serving the King Artaxerxes and living in the palace but that was not enough for him. He left the comfort zone. It’s time to leave your comfort zone too and join the NEHEMIAH PROJECT. Of course there will be some Sanballats and Tobiahs who at that time wondered why Nehemiah, a man who was doing so well in a foreign land was being so bothered by the well-being of the children of Israel. They laughed it off and despised saying “What is this thing you are doing?” God did not speak to many people at that time to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. He laid the burden on one man, Nehemiah. God does not need everybody to rebuild Africa...He needs just YOU!!! You realize that Nehemiah did not rebuild the walls of Jerusalem alone. There were Priests, Levites, nobles, officials and others who did the work. Africa needs a concerted effort to rebuild her walls. We need the educators, the business people & marketplace ministers, the priests, the motivational speakers, the engineers and we need the medical personnel. The people were able to build the wall because they "had the mind to work" It is so easy to join the rest of the people who have given up on Africa. It is so easy to continue with your life like there is nothing going wrong in Africa. It is easy to sip on your lemonade and enjoy your sandwich while 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes every 5 seconds. It is easy to add another pair of sneakers to your wardrobe while thousands of children across Africa have never had their 1st pair of shoes. May-July 2010 we will travel and minister in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia & South Africa.
Your support (financially, physically & intercession) is needed. Come home to Africa, we are waiting to make you “most welcome”. The walls must be built and we can’t do it without you!!!

Scripture the Lord gave me for JOGM/Nehemiah 2008
Listen to me distant nations, you people who live far away! before I (Lisa) was born, the Lord chose me & appointed me to be His servant. He made my words as sharp as a sword. With His own hand He protected me, He made me like an arrow, sharp and ready for use. He said to me, Lisa, you are my servant;...v5: Before I was born, the Lord appointed me; He made me His servant to bring back His people; to bring back the scattered people of (Africa), v6: The Lord said to me, Lisa, I have a greater task for you my servant, Not only will you restore to greatness the people of Africa who have survived, but I will also make you a light to the nations, v8(c): I will let you settle once again in your land that is now laid waste, v11: I will make a highway across the mountains & prepare a road for my people to travel., v12: My people will come from far away, from the north , the west & from Aswan in the south. v12: those who will rebuild you are coming soon & those who destroyed you will leave; v18: look around & see what is happening: Your people are assembling - they are coming home! v19: your country was ruined & desolate - but now it will be too small for those who are coming to live there; v23 Kings will be like fathers to you; Queens will be like mothers. They will bow low before you & honor you; they will humbly show their respect for you Isaiah 49: 1-3, 5-6c, 8, 11-12,17-18,19, 23 (GNT)
